Dr. Jeannette Easley Tippett serves as the District Lead for Early Postsecondary Opportunities in Hamilton County Schools. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education from Mississippi College. Later, she obtained her Master of Science in Education in school counseling from the University of Tennessee at Martin. With a total of 27 years of experience in both secondary and post-secondary education, Dr. Tippett has taught in the classroom, worked as a school counselor and academy coach, and initiated a mentoring program. Additionally, she held the position of Director of Dual Enrollment at Austin Peay State University and served as the Director of SAILS TN. Most recently, she completed her Doctorate in Education with a focus on Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University. Throughout her career, Dr. Tippett has dedicated herself to minimizing obstacles for students and fostering the development of future leaders.
