Sharon is a seasoned senior executive with over 25 years of experience supporting school systems and communities by leading transformation efforts in school districts, local and state governments, and nonprofit organizations. She has served as an organization leader and a trusted adviser to public and non-profit leaders.As Deputy Education Officer for Mayor Michael Nutter, Sharon coordinated Philadelphia’s successful advocacy for increased state funding to strengthen services to students. As a leader in the District of Columbia’s state education agency and school district, she executed initiatives that improved education outcomes for at-risk students and students with disabilities. She also led multiple efforts to safely bring students and educators back into classrooms during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a Lead Engagement Manager at the U.S. Education Delivery Institute, Sharon served as a coach and consultant to education leaders across the U.S. as they implemented the delivery methodology–a proven approach for achieving outcomes in the public sector.
