About me
Izzy Rubin is a Tableau UI/UX Solutions and Engagement Lead at WestEd under the Economic Mobility, Postsecondary, and Workforce Systems content area. In this role, Izzy works with clients and design teams to design dashboards, data and research tools, query tools and other online products, using a user-centered design approach.
Prior to WestEd, Izzy was the Director of Data Analytics at an education intermediary where she served as a Strategic Data Project Fellow through the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University. Her work focused on making data insights accessible to key stakeholders and democratizing public data in order to equip community to advocate for improved student outcomes. Her prior career in Human Resources in the manufacturing and insurance industries also gives her unique perspective on the challenges in matching education with workforce needs.
Izzy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish Language & Literature from the University of Chicago and a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
