About me
Erin Philip is the Strategic Data Project Fellow at Guilford County Schools. In this role, she supports system-wide capacity building for program evaluation and progress monitoring, in addition to leading research on how to effectively support students through the middle-to-high school transition.
Prior to joining GCS, Erin lead evaluation strategy work as a Deputy Director for Insights & Analytics at Educate Texas, a statewide nonprofit working toward transformative educational systems change. She supported a variety of network-based programs across focus areas including continuous improvement of middle school math pedagogy, college access, and work-based learning. She also strengthened company-wide processes towards becoming a learning organization. Before venturing into the world of education data, Erin worked at Strategy& as a strategy consultant.
Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin and a masters in Data Analytics and Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
